One of the best things that can be stated about being a maid or housekeeping cleaner is that the work is usually indoor and in climate-controlled facilities. Beyond that, the work can be dirty and at times physically demanding. Of course, the work can very tremendously depending upon the quality and type of institution. It is expected that much of this growth is likely to occur in the home, in part, due to the retirement of Baby Boomers. Thus there will be an increased need for maids and housekeeping cleaners. While the job may often be, by its very nature, difficult and dirty, most of the work is indoors, often in climate-controlled facilities. |
